Words used in this guide
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Trial code | A code like ENTYTI-MED-XXXX. It opens a brand new shop with a 7-day free trial. One code can be used one time only. |
| Team code | A code that starts with JOIN-. The shop owner gives it to staff or to the accountant. It puts them inside the owner's existing shop, not a new one. |
| Shop | Your medical store inside the app. All your stock, bills and reports sit under it. |
| Trial | The 7 free days you get after you sign up. |
Start a new shop with a trial code
Do this once, on the first day. Only the owner needs to do it.
Steps
- Open the app and go to the sign in screen.
- Under the button at the bottom it says Have a trial code?. Tap Set up your shop.
- In Trial or team code, type the trial code we sent you. It looks like ENTYTI-MED-XXXX.
- In Shop name, type your shop's name, for example Sri Sai Medicals.
- In Your name, type your full name. This one is optional.
- In Phone, type your mobile number. This one is optional.
- In Email, type the email you want to use to sign in. This is required.
- In Password, choose a password of at least 6 letters or numbers.
- Tap Start free trial.
- The app takes you straight into the setup wizard, Set up your shop.
Good to know
- The code is not case sensitive. The app changes small letters to capitals for you.
- The app checks the code before it creates anything. If the code is wrong or already used, you see: "That trial code is invalid or already used." Ask us for a fresh code.
- One trial code opens one shop. After that the code is finished.
- If the app asks you to confirm your email, it shows: "Account created. If asked, confirm your email, then sign in." Open your inbox, confirm, then come back and sign in.
- The screen tells you plainly what a code does. If your code starts with JOIN-, the shop name box disappears, because you are joining a shop that already has a name.
Join a shop that already exists, with a team code
This is for counter staff and for the accountant. The shop owner creates the code for you.
Steps
- Open the app and go to the sign in screen.
- Tap Set up your shop.
- In Trial or team code, type the team code the owner gave you. It starts with JOIN-.
- The shop name box goes away, and a note says you are joining an existing shop.
- Fill in Your name and Phone if you wish.
- Fill in Email and choose a Password of at least 6 characters.
- Tap Start free trial.
- You land straight on the dashboard of the owner's shop. There is no setup wizard for you, because the owner already did it.
Good to know
- Pro: creating and managing team codes, staff and accountant roles is a Pro plan feature. The owner does this from the app. If you need it, write to info@entyti.com.
- A team code can go bad. If it is wrong, already used, or too old, you see: "That team code is invalid, used or expired. Ask the shop owner for a fresh one."
- Your role decides what you see. Counter staff do not see Settings or Billing. An accountant sees only the viewing pages: Dashboard, Inventory, Outstanding and Reports.
- The app also checks your role on our servers, not only on the screen. So the limits hold even if the screen is refreshed.
Finish the 3-step setup wizard
After a new shop is created you must finish this once. Until you finish it, the app keeps bringing you back to this screen.
There are three small lines at the top of the card. They fill in as you move from step 1 to step 3.
Steps
- Step 1, Set up your shop. Check Shop name. The app fills it in from what you typed at signup, so you may only need to read it. Shop name is required.
- Fill in Owner name if you wish.
- Fill in Phone and Shop address if you wish. The app fills these in for you if it already has them.
- Tap Continue. The button stays grey until a shop name is there.
- Step 2, Load your stock. This step is marked (optional). See the next section for how to load a file. If you do not want to do it now, tap Skip for now.
- Step 3. You see a green tick and You're all set.
- Tap Go to my dashboard. Your details are saved and the app opens your dashboard.
Good to know
- You can go Back from step 2 to step 1, and from step 3 to step 2. Nothing is lost.
- Your shop details are only saved when you tap Go to my dashboard on the last step.
- Anything you have already typed is never overwritten by the app filling in old details.
- The 7-day free trial clock starts on your first sign in, not when the code was made.
- The first time you reach the dashboard, a small card appears at the bottom: Take a quick tour?. Tap Start tour for a one minute walkthrough of billing, stock, purchases and payments, or tap Maybe later. It is offered one time only, never forced.
- You can change your shop name, phone, address and other details later in Settings.
Load your existing stock from a file
You do not need to type your stock again. Give the app the file or the register you already have and it reads it for you.
Steps
- On step 2 of the setup wizard, tap the dashed box that says Choose a file.
- Pick your file. The app accepts xlsx, xls, csv, tsv, txt, xml, and photos.
- Wait while it says Reading your file.... On a big file it counts the parts, for example "Reading rows... part 2 of 7".
- When it is done you see the file name and a line like: "Found 240 products and 12 past bills. Add them to your shop?"
- Read that number. If it looks right, tap Import.
- You then see a green box: Imported successfully, with the count of products, stock batches and past bills.
- Tap Continue to go to the last step.
If the count looks wrong, tap Cancel. Nothing is added. You can pick a different file and try again.
Good to know
- Nothing is added to your shop until you tap Import. What you see first is only a preview.
- The app decides by itself how to read your file. A clean file with a proper header row, with columns for name and price or quantity, is read inside your phone or computer. That is instant, exact, and works for any number of rows.
- A messy file, a photo, or a sales register goes to our servers to be read for you. Big files are sent in parts so that nothing is cut off.
- From a clean stock file the app can pick up: product name, cost price, MRP or selling price, quantity, batch number, expiry, category, manufacturer, HSN code and GST rate. Column names can be written in many ways, for example Qty, Quantity, Closing Stock or Balance Qty all mean quantity.
- Rubbish in the quantity column is cleaned up. "2.0 PCS" becomes 2. Shop name and total lines sitting above the real header row are skipped.
- If your file shows minus stock for an item, the app puts it at 0.
- If the app is not sure some rows came through, it shows an amber line: "Some rows may not have been read, please check the preview before importing." Check the count before you tap Import.
- If the file cannot be read at all you see: "Could not read that file. Try a clearer file or paste the text." A very large single file may say it is too large to read in one go, and ask you to split it or send it as CSV or Excel.
- For a photo, use jpeg, png or webp. Take it straight on, in good light, so the writing is clear.
- Past bills that come in from a sales register are stored as history only. They do not take stock off your shelf.
- You can import again at any time later. Go to Inventory and tap the Import button there. It reads the file the same way, but instead of the preview card you get a short pop-up: "Found N products in your file. Add them to your inventory?" Tap OK to add, or Cancel to drop it. When it is done a green message tells you how many new products and stock batches went in.
Sign in every day
Steps
- Open the app.
- Type your Email.
- Type your Password.
- Tap Sign in.
- The app opens your dashboard.
Good to know
- If the app shows "Loading..." for a moment, that is normal. It never sits there for more than a few seconds.
- To sign out, tap Sign out. On a phone it is at the top right. On a computer it is at the bottom left, under the menu.
- When you sign out, your shop details are cleared off that phone or computer. The next person who signs in on the same device sees only their own shop.
Reset a forgotten password
Steps
- On the sign in screen, tap Forgot password?.
- Type the Email you sign in with.
- Tap Send reset link.
- You see a green message: "If that email has an account, a reset link is on its way. Check your inbox."
- Open your email and tap the link.
- The reset page opens and says Checking your reset link... for a moment.
- Type your New password. It must be at least 6 characters.
- Type it again in Confirm password.
- Tap Update password.
- You see a green tick and "Password updated. You can sign in now."
- Tap Go to sign in and sign in with the new password.
Good to know
- To come back without resetting, tap Back to sign in.
- The message after step 4 is the same whether or not that email has an account. This is on purpose, so nobody can find out who has an account.
- If the two password boxes do not match, the page says: "Passwords don't match."
- If the password is shorter than 6 characters the page says: "Password must be at least 6 characters."
- A reset link does not last forever. If it is old or already used, the page says the link is invalid or expired and shows Request a new link. Tap it and start again.
- After the password is changed the app signs you out on purpose. Sign in fresh with the new password.
Your 7-day free trial
What you see
- In the side menu, under your shop name, it says Trial · Nd left.
- Once the trial clock has started, the top of each page inside the app carries a line: Free trial, N days left, with an Upgrade link on the right. It does not show on the setup wizard.
- When 2 days or less are left, that line turns amber so it is harder to miss.
- The side menu also shows Free AI runs left, so you know how much of the assistant you have used. The dashboard shows the same count as a tile. On the Pro plan the number is replaced by the unlimited sign, ∞.
What is included during the trial
Everything in the standard app works during the trial: billing at the counter, discounts on a line or on the whole bill, rounding off the grand total, part payment with the balance going to Outstanding, the daily follow-up checklist on the dashboard, inventory, purchases, reports and the assistant.
These are Pro plan features and stay locked on a trial:
| Feature | Plan |
|---|---|
| GST returns, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B export, and sending to your accountant | Pro |
| GST credit notes on returns | Pro |
| Balance sheet report | Pro |
| Stock value at cost report | Pro |
| Purchase orders to your distributor | Pro |
| Staff and accountant roles, team codes | Pro |
| More than one shop or branch | Pro |
| Sending bills on WhatsApp automatically | Pro |
If you open one of those, the app shows a card saying it is a Full plan feature, with a way to contact us.
What happens when the 7 days end
- The next time you open the app, instead of your dashboard you see a full screen card: Your 7-day free trial has ended.
- The card tells you your shop data is safe.
- There is one button, Continue, contact us to upgrade, which writes to info@entyti.com. We reply within one business day.
- There is also a Sign out link under the card.
Good to know
- The lock is complete. Until the plan is changed, you cannot bill, add products or add customers. This is enforced on our servers, not only on the screen, so it cannot be worked around.
- Nothing is deleted. Your products, batches, bills and reports stay exactly as they were and come back the moment the plan is changed.
- The trial cannot be extended from inside the app. Write to info@entyti.com and we can look at it.
- You cannot change your own plan or trial dates from the app. Only we can, after you contact us.
Common questions
I did not get a trial code. Where do I get one? Write to info@entyti.com and ask for one. Codes are made and sent by us.
Can I use the same trial code for my second shop? No. A trial code works one time only. Ask us for another code.
Someone in my shop signed up but never confirmed the email. Is my code wasted? Not necessarily. Write to info@entyti.com. If no real shop was ever created with it, we can switch the code back on.
Do I have to load my stock file during setup? No. Step 2 says (optional). Tap Skip for now and load it later from Inventory, at any time.
My file is in a strange format from my old software. Will it work? Try it. The app reads clean files itself, and sends anything unusual to our servers to be read. If it still fails, send us a sample at info@entyti.com.
I imported and the product count looks too small. What now? Tap Cancel if you are still on the preview, and look for the amber warning about rows that may not have been read. A very large file works better if you split it, or save it as CSV or Excel with a proper header row.
Will importing old bills change my stock? No. Past bills are kept as history only. They do not take anything off your shelf.
Can two people use the same login at the counter? Better not to. Each person should have their own login with the right role, so you can see who did what. Staff and accountant logins are a Pro feature. Pro
I am staff. Why can I not see Settings or Billing? Those pages are for the owner. The menu shows only the pages your role is allowed to use.
My shop details are wrong. Where do I fix them? In Settings. Shop name, phone, address and other details can be changed there after setup.
Can I use the app when the internet is off? The app has an Offline sync page and keeps working for the counter, but the assistant pauses while you are offline. You will see an Offline, AI paused tag in the menu.
Who do I contact about paying or upgrading? Write to info@entyti.com. Everything about plans, credits and upgrading is handled by email, and we reply within one business day.
