What you can do here
- Set your shop name, address and GSTIN.
- Upload a shop logo that prints on every bill, and remove it later if you want.
- Turn GST on your bills on or off.
- Add your own UPI ID so a "Scan to pay" QR appears at billing time.
- See a live preview of the QR your customers will scan.
- Manage staff logins, extra shops and WhatsApp auto-send (these parts are on the Full plan, marked "Pro" below).
Only the shop Owner can open Settings. If you are Counter Staff or the Accountant, the page shows a lock and the message "Only the shop Owner can change settings". Ask the Owner to make the change. This is not just a screen rule: our servers also refuse the change if it comes from anyone but the Owner.
Set your shop name, address and GSTIN
These three fields sit in the first box, under the heading Shop details.
| Field | What it is for | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Shop name | Printed big at the top of every bill. Example: Sri Sai Medicals | Yes |
| Address | Printed under the shop name on the bill | No |
| GSTIN (optional) | Printed on the bill as "GSTIN: ..." when GST billing is ON | No |
Steps
- Open Settings from the menu.
- Tap the Shop name box and type your shop name exactly as you want it on the bill.
- Tap Address and type your shop address. This prints on the bill.
- Tap GSTIN (optional) and type your GST number. If your shop is not GST registered, leave it blank.
- Scroll down and tap Save settings.
- Wait for the small green message Settings saved. at the bottom of the screen.
Good to know
- Shop name cannot be blank. If you clear it and tap Save, you get a red message Shop name is required. and nothing is saved.
- Extra spaces at the start and end of what you type are removed automatically.
- If you clear the Address or GSTIN box and save, the app stores them as empty and they simply stop printing on the bill.
- The bill header falls back to the word "Pharmacy" if no shop name is set at all.
- Your GSTIN prints on the bill only when GST billing is turned ON. With GST off, the GSTIN line does not print even if it is filled in.
- Nothing is saved while you type. Only Save settings saves. If you leave the page before saving, your changes are lost.
Put your shop logo on bills
The logo sits in the same Shop details box, below GSTIN, under the label Shop logo. It prints at the very top of every printed bill, above the shop name.
Steps
- In Settings, find Shop logo.
- Tap Upload logo (it says Change logo if you already have one).
- Pick a picture from your phone or computer.
- Wait a moment. A spinning circle shows while the app is working.
- When you see the green message Logo updated., the small square next to the button shows your logo. It is already saved.
To remove the logo:
- Tap Remove under the logo button.
- Wait for the green message Logo removed.
Good to know
- The logo saves by itself the moment you pick the picture. You do not need to tap Save settings for the logo.
- Pick an image file only. Anything else gives the red message Please pick an image file.
- The app shrinks the picture for you, to about 320 pixels on its longest side, and saves it as a small photo file. This keeps printing and WhatsApp bills fast. You do not need to resize anything yourself.
- If your logo has a see-through background, the app fills it with white so it prints cleanly on paper.
- The screen tip says it plainly: "Appears at the top of every printed bill. Square works best."
- The logo also appears on the bill PDF that WhatsApp auto-send attaches. WhatsApp auto-send is Pro (Full plan). On the other plans the bill goes out as a WhatsApp text message with no PDF, so no logo.
- The logo is stored at a public web address so printers and WhatsApp can fetch it. Do not use a picture you would not want anyone to see.
- Uploading again replaces the old one on your bills straight away, without any waiting for the old picture to clear.
Turn GST on your bills on or off
The second box is called Billing mode. It has one tick box: Charge & show GST on bills. Under the tick box a grey line always tells you where you stand right now: either GST bills (tax invoice) or Simple bills (no GST).
Steps
- In Settings, scroll to Billing mode.
- Tap the tick box next to Charge & show GST on bills. - Ticked means GST bills. - Unticked means simple bills, for shops below the GST turnover limit.
- Check the grey "Currently:" line reads what you wanted.
- Tap Save settings.
- Wait for Settings saved.
What changes when you turn GST OFF
| On the bill or screen | GST ON | GST OFF |
|---|---|---|
| Words at the top of the bill | Tax Invoice | Bill |
| GSTIN line in the bill header | Prints (if GSTIN filled) | Does not print |
| Bill columns: GST%, Taxable, CGST, SGST | Shown | Hidden |
| Totals block: Taxable value, CGST, SGST | Shown | Hidden |
| Return paperwork | A numbered Return note (marked "Credit Note" on the printed page) is created. Opening and printing that note is Pro (Full plan) | No return note document is offered. The return itself is still recorded |
| Reports: GST Summary tab | Shown | Hidden |
| Reports: Monthly GST Return tab | Shown | Hidden |
Everything else stays the same: item lines, batch, expiry, quantity, MRP, discount, round off and the Grand Total all print either way.
Good to know
- The setting takes effect from the moment you save. Bills you already printed do not change.
- If you are sitting on the GST Summary or Monthly GST Return tab in Reports when GST is turned off, the app moves you back to Daily Sales by itself.
- If this setting was never touched, the app treats your shop as a GST shop.
- The GST Summary tab works on every plan. The Monthly GST Return tab is Pro (Full plan). Both need GST billing to be ON to even appear.
Add your UPI ID so customers can scan and pay
The third box is called Payments, with one field: Your UPI ID (VPA). This is your own UPI address, the one that looks like yourshop@okaxis. Money goes straight from the customer to your bank account. There is no payment company in the middle and no commission taken out.
Steps
- In Settings, scroll to Payments.
- Tap Your UPI ID (VPA) and type your UPI ID, for example
yourshop@okaxis. - As soon as the ID looks correct, a Scan to pay QR appears right below, with the note "Preview, this is the QR customers will scan". Check the small line under the QR shows your correct UPI ID.
- Tap Save settings.
- Wait for Settings saved.
Taking money at the counter with the QR
- Make the bill on the Quick Sale screen and save it.
- On the "Sale recorded" screen, tap the Collect ₹... via UPI QR button (the bill amount is printed inside the button label).
- Turn the screen towards the customer. They scan it with GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any UPI app.
- The amount and the bill number are already filled in for them. They only confirm.
- Check the money in your own UPI app.
- Tap Payment received to close the QR.
Good to know
- The QR button appears on the Quick Sale success screen only after a UPI ID is saved in Settings. No UPI ID, no button.
- The QR carries the exact bill total and the invoice number as the payment note, so you can match it later in your UPI app.
- The app does not know whether the customer actually paid. Nothing is confirmed automatically. Payment received just closes the QR on your screen. Always check your own UPI app before handing over the medicine.
- The QR is not a payment gateway, so there is no fee and no settlement wait. It is your normal UPI account.
- The customer's name is not needed. The QR shows your shop name as the person being paid.
- On the same phone you can tap Open UPI app on this phone under the QR to open a UPI app directly, useful for testing your own setup with a small test payment to yourself.
- Choosing "UPI" as the payment mode on a bill is a separate thing. That is only how you record the sale. The QR is how you collect it.
If the app says your UPI ID looks wrong
If you tap Save and see the red message That UPI ID doesn't look right (e.g. shop@okaxis), your entry did not pass the basic check. A UPI ID must:
- have some text, then
@, then a handle, likesrisai@okaxis; - have at least two characters before the
@and at least two letters after it; - use only letters, numbers, dot, dash and underscore before the
@; - have no spaces inside it.
Fix the ID and tap Save settings again. Nothing else on the page is saved while this message is showing, so re-check your other changes went in.
Other settings on this page
Below the Save settings button there are three more sections. They belong to other parts of this guide, but you will see them here.
| Section | What it does | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp auto-send | Sends the bill on WhatsApp by itself instead of you sharing it manually | Pro (Full plan) |
| Your team | Logins for Counter Staff and Accountant | Pro (Full plan) |
| Your shops | More than one shop under one login | Pro (Full plan) |
If your shop is not on the Full plan, these sections show a locked panel instead. To ask about upgrading, write to info@entyti.com.
Your data and privacy
The app asks for your camera in Inventory, Purchases, Quick Sale and the Assistant, and for your microphone when you speak an item. This section explains what happens to those photos and voice recordings, and to the rest of your shop's records. The full privacy policy is a public page on the app's website, at /privacy. It is written in plain language and you can open it without signing in.
What the app collects
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | When you create your shop account and sign in | Your email address and your shop details |
| Business data you type in | All day, as you work | Your inventory, batches, sales, bills, customers and related records. This is your shop's operating data |
| Camera | Only when you choose to scan a medicine strip | The photo is sent to our extraction service to read the product details: name, batch, expiry, MRP and pack |
| Microphone | Only when you use voice add | Your speech is turned into text so the app can find or add a product |
What happens to a photographed strip or a spoken command
- The camera is used only when you choose to scan. The policy states the captured image is sent to be read for product details and is not used for any other purpose.
- The microphone is used only when you use voice add. Your speech is converted to text to find or add a product. The policy states we do not record or store audio for other purposes.
- The policy does not state how long a scanned image is kept after it has been read. If you need that in writing for your own records, write to info@entyti.com and ask.
How your data is used
- Only to run the app's features: billing, inventory and batch tracking, reporting and profit calculations, and syncing your records to your account so they are available on all your devices.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use it for advertising. The app carries no outside advertising code.
Who it is shared with
Only the service providers needed to run the app: our cloud database, and the AI service used for strip scanning and voice. They get only what is needed to provide those features. Your data is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Where it is stored, and how long
- Your account and business data sit on our managed cloud database, under access controls that keep your shop's data private to your account.
- Data travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
Good to know
- The app is meant for business use by shop owners and staff. It is not aimed at children.
- The policy may be updated from time to time. Any material change shows on the same page with a new "last updated" date, so it is worth a look now and then.
- Anything the policy does not answer: write to info@entyti.com.
Deleting your data or closing your account
There is no delete-my-shop button inside the app today. Deletion is done by asking us.
Steps
- Write an email to info@entyti.com from the email address on your shop account.
- Say clearly that you want your account and its data deleted, and give your shop name.
- Send it. We usually reply within one business day.
- We delete the account and the data associated with it within a reasonable period.
Good to know
- You can ask for deletion at any time. The policy puts no condition on it.
- Deletion is final in the sense that the records go. Take anything you still need out of the app first. Several screens give you a CSV download: Inventory, Outstanding and the Reports tabs. Print or save any bills you may need later.
- While your account is active, your data stays. Nothing is removed on its own.
- The policy does not set out an exact number of days for deletion, and it does not describe a way to download everything in one file. If you need either of those, ask at info@entyti.com.
Common questions
Do I have to tap Save settings after uploading the logo? No. The logo saves on its own. Shop name, address, GSTIN, the GST tick box and the UPI ID all need Save settings.
I turned GST off. Will my old tax invoices change? No. Bills already made keep the numbers they were made with. The change applies to what you print from now on.
I am not GST registered. What should I do? Leave GSTIN blank and untick Charge & show GST on bills. Your bills will say "Bill" instead of "Tax Invoice" and will show one simple total with no CGST or SGST breakup.
My staff says the Settings page is locked. That is correct. Only the Owner can change shop settings. Counter Staff and the Accountant see a lock message instead of the page.
Does the app take a cut of the UPI payments? No. The QR pays your own UPI ID directly. There is no payment company in between.
The customer scanned the QR but I did not get a message in the app. Is the payment done? The app has no way to check. Open your own UPI app and confirm the money arrived. Only then hand over the goods and tap Payment received.
Can I use a personal UPI ID instead of a shop one? The app accepts any valid UPI ID. Whatever you type is what collects the money, so use the account you actually want the money in.
My logo looks stretched or cut on the bill. The bill fits the logo inside a fixed strip at the top and keeps its shape. A square picture works best. Very wide or very tall pictures will look small.
I changed the shop name. Why does the old name still show on an old bill? The bill is drawn from your current shop details when you open or print it, so it should update. If it does not, close and reopen the bill screen.
Where do I ask about the Full plan? Write to info@entyti.com.
Is the photo of the strip I scanned kept somewhere? It is sent to be read for the product details and is not used for anything else. The privacy policy does not say how long the picture is kept, so if you need that answer, ask at info@entyti.com.
Does the app listen to me when I am not using voice? No. The microphone is used only when you tap the voice button. Audio is not recorded or stored for other purposes.
How do I close my shop account? Email info@entyti.com and ask for your account and data to be deleted. There is no button for it in the app. See "Deleting your data or closing your account" above.
